If there's one thing a woman in her 40's don't wanna hear is the tsk tsk tsk of her doctor cause well you know whats coming next the ... i think you need to lose just a bit if weight , naw really you do !!! DUDE have you no clue what i do , well... let me tell you one thing mr. MD man , i cook i cook for family , friends , and in competitions and well just because ! it's raining . i cook its a Monday , i cook , my kids are hungry , i cook , lets just face it i cook , like they dont eat ! i sometimes wonder who let these ppl out during the daylight, who told them just cause they got all that school they can plan my life ! really lose a lil bit a weight , tell ya what Mr Md man , i lose weight if you # 1 get a face lift #2 be nice about it ( you catch alot more flies with honey ) # 3 get off my butt ! i cook like most of the ppl in the world we have to the food world is a very rewarding place there nice ppl there ppl that like to eat and ain't afraid of there stoves , now granted i aint no Paula deen but i can hold my own in a kitchen ! and well against her even ( wow that was a ego shot ) , so of course i ate it !! and no matter what you think MR. doctor man I'm gonna keep eating !!
It's not about food. It's about weight and extra struggle you put your heart through trying to compensate for that weight. It's about healthy blood pressure. It's about keeping diabetes away and having a properly functioning liver. If you truly love the ones you speak of, listen to this MD (who knows exactly what your body needs) and lose a few lbs. Give them the gift of your life, much/far greater than any pie you can make. And in turn, give the ones you live and cook for the gift of life also by cutting back on fats, carbs, and sugars in your meals. Nothing wrong with splurging every once in a while, but not necessary every single meal and snack of the day.
